I’ve been able to scale my affiliate marketing business to over $15,000 of steady revenue month over month after only 2 years, largely because I found and used the best affiliate marketing tools available.
You aren’t going to need every tool in this list to make your affiliate marketing efforts successful, but they will all make it easier in one way or another.
Tools like web hosting, funnel builders, email marketing autoresponders, content scheduling tools, a keyword research tool and many more have the capability to do the job of a full team of employees, for a fraction of the cost.
Starting with what I believe to be the most essential tools to have in your business, here is my recommended toolkit.

Organic traffic is king. Social Media Marketing has grown to become a tier-one strategy for getting exposure to your affiliate marketing business and sales for zero cost.
The caveat? Social media takes time, a lot of it.
Luckily, there are affiliate marketing tools available that help us with our social media marketing by saving us time, improving the quality of our content, and overall making the experience that much more seamless.
The tools listed below are definitely worth looking into if you will be using organic social media marketing to capture affiliate sales.
Munch
If you create any form of long-form content like YouTube videos, podcasts, or in my case, you are recording multiple coaching calls with clients on a daily basis and you would like to repurpose the highlights of that content as short-form videos, then Munch is what you need.
Munch is a AI social media marketing tool that you can upload your long-form videos to and it will use trending keywords that it picks up on within the content to create highlights that can be uploaded to Tiktok, Instagram, Facebook Reels, YouTube Shorts, or any other short form video platform.
In my experience of using Munch, I can generally get between 20 and 30 high quality short form videos with subtitles automatically added from just the recording of a 30-minute coaching call.
When you factor in the amount of time it takes just to rewatch the content I will be editing to make short form videos, Munch already has me beat.

The main difference between the plans is the amount of minutes you can upload per month to be processed, and their Pro Plan for $49 per month gives you 200 minutes.
This is all I decided to go with and I find it to be plenty.
For instance, if your average YouTube video is 15 minutes in length, that’s 13 full videos per month that can be processed into many short-form videos.
If you have a larger affiliate marketing business, maybe you do daily podcasts or webinars, then you may find the Elite or Ultimate plan to be a better fit.
Repurpose.io
Uploading your content to multiple platforms at once can be a brutal time suck. I know personally, just trying to upload one 45-second video to Tiktok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Reels, and Pinterest can be a 30-minute ordeal.
By the time you’ve curated the captions for each video, wait for the video to process to verify its quality, and select a thumbnail for each platform you could have created 3 more videos.

Most ALL businesses online use a landing page builder and have a funnel of some sort. It is something that will give you real estate on the internet and provide a simple way for your audience to click, join your list, get information, and even purchase your offer.
Meanwhile, you can be sitting on the beach, out to dinner, or sleeping while all this is happening.

Even if the sale comes from a blog post, chances are I have sent an email to my list linking to that blog post and it was read and purchased from by my engaged readers.
It becomes a numbers game.
100 people on an email list isn’t all that much, but once you collect 10,000, or 25,000, or even 100,000 email subscribers, you have that many people hearing from you directly in their inbox every time you send a message.
This is how commissions really stack up fast.
When it comes to choosing the best email marketing tool for affiliates, you need something that will allow you to send affiliate links in your emails.
This is why a lot of affiliate marketers choose NOT to use software like ActiveCampaign or Mailchimp. They are both great software, but they have a strong policy stating that their services can NOT be used for affiliate marketing. Aweber is email marketing tool of choice for many affiliate marketers, myself included.
Not only because they are affiliate link friendly, but because it is a very simple platform to learn, has the best user interface, and it is VERY reliable.
I’ve personally been using Aweber for all of my email marketing campaigns since I launched my online business back in 2021, and will likely continue indefinitely, even if I do have to incorporate another software for some reason.

For me, I’m okay with a limitation like that on a free plan, but for a paid plan I’m not. I would skip this tier altogether.
Plus Plan: The Plus plan is AWeber’s premium offering and comes with advanced features and capabilities.
This is the go-to plan and you could go ahead and subscribe to this as soon as you determine you like the platform, but generally, my recommendation is to upgrade once you are seeing new leads added to your list daily.
With this plan you can turn off the dreaded double opt in, which results in a lot of money left on the table if you cannot turn that off when you gain momentum.

In short, web hosting is a service that companies will provide so it is possible to have a live website on the internet. The speed, uptime, and security of your site largely depend on the hosting solution you choose.
Merely selecting a random hosting provider and hoping for the best is risky. More often than not, this approach won’t yield the desired results.
Without a dependable web hosting tool, your website’s performance, user experience, and even security could be compromised.

Advanced is targeted at medium-sized businesses or agencies, this plan provides more extensive data access, allowing for deeper analysis and tracking.
Then there is Agency. As the name suggests, this plan is tailored for large agencies or enterprises with significant SEO needs. It offers the highest limits and full access to all of Ahrefs’ features.
Additionally, Ahrefs often provides a trial period at a nominal fee for users to test out its platform before committing to a full subscription. The prices change regularly and they often change what is included in each tier, so your best bet is to head over to Ahref’s and look at their current price structure.
